Last year after our wedding I used a couple of our Macy's gift cards on a Kitchen Aid mixer.  I got it just in time to start baking Christmas cookies, and it made life so much easier!  I was able to make about 5 batches of different cookies fairly quickly.  I can't wait to use it this year! :)

As soon as I saw "stand mixer" I stopped reading and checked that one.  It is hands down the most important tool for me since I love to bake.

food processor - I love watching it shred vegetables in seconds and using it to make my favorite hummus spreads/ dips.
