Cooking/Pastry Classes

Hi!

My name is Angela and wanted to say hi to all the Kansas City Nesties! I am a newbie! lol A little bit about me, I am a pastry chef, got married in April! yah! and starting in Jan will work part(i mean part) time as a wedding consultant.

I wanted to run this by everyone to get some feedback. I was thinking of doing some cooking/pastry classes at our place. Do you think people would come? How much would you be willing to pay? What kind of classes interest you? I can think of classes but have no idea if they would be interesting for others. lol

Thanks for helping!

This sounds like lots of fun! I would love for us to take some kind of cooking class together. Are you thinking of having it at your home? I'm not sure what something like that would cost.

ya! lol

Yes, I was thinking of having at our place(our apt.) We have a community kitchen, but it is a little small for more than 6. But would be good for the smaller group.

What would you guys like to have for the "lesson"? lol The cost would just depend on different variables.

:)

Welcome! And I think the classes are a fabulous idea-I would love to do something like that (pastry especially) with a group of girl friends. I think you could totally market it that way-as a girls night out kind of thing. I would probably be willing to pay $20 a person, if that included the materials and you got to take some pastries with you Wink

I agree that marketing it as a girls' night out would be a good idea. It sounds like fun! I really have no idea how much classes like that normally go for, though.
