This is kinda silly - but when do people find time for sex?

am i just busy?  overloaded?  unless i set an alarm for 5:30am - i would be a nun.

straight up.

i feel like there is just no time in the day.  ever.

We'll do it in lieu of like, straightening the living room that night, for instance.  A little nooky and "eh, the magazines will take care of themselves" attitude are good for you!!

 

There are days when we just couldn't fathom it.  But then ... we just don't.

 

I thought you lounged Sat to Sun, aren't you guys rabbits then??

-as soon as you get home,

- before you make dinner,

-before you go to bed,

-in the shower after the gym,

-skip the gym and do it instead.

There's gotta be a time in your schedule where you have some quiet time with your husband? you watch a movie? or a t.v. show? do it then!

There's gotta be a time in your schedule where you have some quiet time with your husband? you watch a movie? or a t.v. show? do it then!

the time we do come together to chill is usually between 11pm-1am.  i am generally drooling besdie him for 95% of that time.  i only stay on the couch and try to stay awake b/c otherwise, i would truly have no downtime.

 

and countrybride -- we pretty much only do it sat & sun unless we are TTC that week.  but it is very boring now that i think of it.

Aaah gotcha.  Yeah, we were sick of the weekend-only thing pretty quickly.  B/c then it becomes expected, and part of the schedule ... if that makes sense.  It put a lot of strain on us, actually, to feel like we HAD to do it then or we wouldn't get another chance.

 

Which, strangely, affected how we communicated in general.  So, yeah, we are better off having weekday sex.  But with YOUR schedule, from what I gather of it, my lord, I couldn't imagine finding the time.  Do you guys work close enough together to have some a mid-day rendez-vous?

during the week:

quickies before work/after work.

full sex (you know what i mean) once you get into bed at night.

on the weekend:

quickies any time during the day if we're home (or someplace private...lol!) and nobody is around

drunk sex when we get home from going out...or one of us passes out...it's a gamble;)

perhaps your h lasts too long?  lol!
I'm quickly growing tired of [IMMM's] intense inner rage towards people on this board. She seems to pick up on themes in other people's posts, hmmm, well, I'm picking up on her theme quite well.

I agree.  DH goes to work at 6am and by the time i get home he is working on the farm and passed out by 8pm.  I know the only way we do it is if we plan it ahead of time and lately DH has been canceling because he has just been so tired he doesn't want to be touched.   Doesn't help that my SIL lives with me now and DH feels we shouldn't have sex at all while she is in the house.  I am resorting to jumping him in the barn for scheduled times.

No wonder you have not felt as hot about married life lately!

Sometimes, you just have to decide that 30 minutes or so is more important than the dishes, or whatever else it is you are doing.

Oh booby! you are TTC and you find no time to have sex? You need to get creative here because after you do have kids you seriously have no time or energy for it.

I was very active before Logan (5-7 times a week). Now DH is lucky if I put out on the weekends.
