Update on the interview: I went to a blood drive at Valencia CC yesterday afternoon (at the blood centers request) to try out recruiting, and that helped me make a decision. I didn't take the job, because the availability reqs were too open-ended. There were pluses and minuses, but overall the job's not for me.
I appreciate all the vibes! The good wishes must have carried over, because I found/applied for a few more appropriate opportunities today, and reconnected with a promising state employer at a UCF job fair :)
