For those of you looking for an organic turkey...

I know Vitamin Cottage isn't everywhere, but it looks they have locations in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Texas.  Organic Turkeys for $2.99/lb, which is much cheaper than Whole Foods.

I love Vitamin Cottage!  I don't eat turkey, but I make at least a once a month trip there to stock up on the "essentials."

I decided to get an organic turkey this year. I went with one from Earth Fare, but they get their turkeys from a local farm. They had a choice between a natural turkey and an organic turkey. The organic has all the same attributes as natural, but it is organic and free range.

I got a pamphlet when I reserved the turkey - it said that natural turkeys do not take as long to cook as the conventional ones. Good to know that before the 25th!

I would love to get an organic turkey this year. I bet it tastes so much better!
