Nanowrimo- stuck!

I just wrote a whole bunch... and I hate it!  I mean, the writing itself is okay but it's just going on and on!  I think I might erase it and start again.  But that's okay- I'm only 6000 words behind where I should at this point.  This change will only add another 1000 or so... le sigh.

Hi

I will be 2k words behind if i don't write today.  I'm ill, I don't see it happening.

I'm also hating my work, or at least I was which is why I decided to become flexible with my story.  Now, I don't hesitate to take inspiration from really goofy places or even torture my main character a bit if that's what needs to happen.

Remember, it's supposed to be FUN and it is really only a very rough first draft.  Quantity over quality, I promise, it helps!

I even wrote in the perspective of the house cat one day just to make my daily quota, lol.

I'm PollySorbate80 on the site if you need a nano buddy.

Take care!

1.  Thank you.  I'm off and running again and I might put a cat in my story, just for fun ;)

2.  I love that your DH is the dishwasher.  I'm totally jealous of your ticker!!

I added you- I'm mslala04 :)

Good luck!  I hope you feel better!

I added you as well, I'm rockwren!

Kelli - I don't know if you did it already, but maybe you should keep your old stuff, just in case there is stuff you want to pick out of it later.

I'd keep the old stuff.  I've written some cr%p...but that's okay....it's just meant to be writing.  You can always edit it out later on.  I wouldn't want to get rid of anything because it might also stimulate thought for other stuff.  Best of luck!
