Going rate for babysitting?

I had my 15-year-old cousin watch DD (2 1/2) for six hours today.  I had no idea what to pay as I've never had to pay someone to watch her before (love that Grandma and Papa are free!).  Any thoughts?

I just want to make sure I didn't short her at all!

I pay $8/hour for an almost 2 year old, and a 6 month old. I am curious to hear what others pay!

I would probably pay $5 hr.  I can't see paying more than that since that is what I pay an adult to watch her during the day at a daycare center.

We pay our high school babysitter $5/hour to watch our daughter who is almost 3.  I remember getting $1/hour to babysit when I was in high school:)

I used to pay $5/ hour for one kid. I now pay $8/hour for two kids.
