iphone update question

Anyone download the newest update? I did earlier today and now I can't use any of my apps! I haven't sync'd my phone in a while so I have a new app I actually paid for that isn't on my computer so I don't really want to restore it and lose it.

Does anyone know how to uninstall the newest update?

I doubt you'll be able to uninstall the latest update - at least very easily or in an authorized manner.  Dumb questions, but have you shut down and restarted both your phone and your computer?  That may fix the problem.  Also, once you buy an app, it's stored in your apple account so you'll be able to download and reinstall it.  So you shouldn't lose the new app that you paid for but haven't put on your computer.

Thanks for the input. I have restarted both my computer and phone - a few times now - and my apps are still not working...ugh.

Right now I'm restoring my phone and going to try and reinstall my apps and see if that helps.

Of course, it doesn't help that I'm 100% Apple and iTunes ignorant. I know all the apps and internet are so awesome, but man just a plain ordinary phone is so much easier to deal with :)

This happened to me and it turns out that itunes was logged into DH's email address so thats why I couldn't use any of my apps.  Try going to settings, then store and make sure you're signed in with your own email address and if you aren't just sign out and sign back in under yours.  HTH!

Unfortunately I checked that and it is logged in as me. Well, I restored my phone which of course deleted all the apps off of my phone, but now when I put them back on they are working. Its a pain since I have to reinstall all of them, but I guess at least they are working again.
