Seller won't turn in offers!

We put an offer on a SS almost 2 months ago and we know there is at least one other offer on the house.  The seller will not take any of the offers to the bank though!  The house won't go into foreclosure until the end of April if he continues not to turn in the offers.

Has anyone been through something similar?  What happens to your offer when it goes into foreclosure?

 Thanks!

Wow that sucks! Why would they even put the house on the market in that case? Some people are just jerks and like to screw with peoples' emotions.

This has never happened to us, that I am aware of anyways. I believe once a house goes into foreclosure, all offers are voided and you have to re-submit an offer once the bank makes the house available for sale again but as an REO. Good luck!

If the bank has not accepted your offer by the time house goes to foreclosure auction, your offer is no longer good. You can find out when the auction is and bid at auction or wait for house to go up for sale with REA if no one buys at auction. If an investor buys it, you may be able to buy directly from the investor.
