So irritated at DH re TI

Look, I know TI is no cup of tea. It's fricking exhausting.  Nobody wants to really do it this much.  But we have 2 more months to hope for a miracle before it costs me 3 months of side effects hell (I assume) on Lupron, not to mention $5000 for a FET and God knows what for the Lupron.

 He knows AF was last weekend.  He knows about when I O.  If I start coming on to him, it would be nice if he just went with it.  I'm tired of being the demanding nag!  ARGH!   Plus, we have about 1.5 hours of naptime to do the deed.  I'm sorry if that doesn't work perfectly with your football schedule, asswipe.

I'm sitting here just fuming at him, trying to chill out enough to talk to him about it without being pissy.

Secondary IF blog

TTC#2, with Endo and compound hetero MTHFR. Lap 2/09 found stage 1-2 Endo in "significant" areas. Minor LPD. RE doesn't think any of that's the cause of our IF. IUI#1-3, BFN. On to IVF#1 and only...BFN. Was taking a break to figure out what to do next when we got a surprise BFP...only to have CP#2, 7 blasts on ice. On Lupron Depot since February. 1 more shot of that. Lap 3/15 removed let tube and ovary.

Ugh, I'm sorry he is being a pain. this is why i am glad my DH is clueless about the female reproductive system.

IUI #2 - 100 MG Clomid - Canceled, no follies on the left
HSG-12-28= right tube blocked, left tube all clear.
IUI#2 Take 2 - 150 MG Clomid - Canceled, Lefty is officially not going to work.
Tubal Recannulization: 2-16-10 = Both Tubes Clear!!!
IUI#2 Take 3 - 150 mg Clomid -1 follie - BFN
IUI#3 150mg Clomid- 1 Follie on Right - IUI 3-21-10

Im sorry. TI is so difficult sometimes. I was relieved when we started our ART b/c no more TI!! Whoo-hoo. But I also understand it is much cheaper than ART.

Me too.  I refuse to spend any more money on IUIs at this point, though, when FET is our next step.  3 was enough to convince me it wasn't going to work, and the surprise BFP after our IVF made me want to give TI a shot before the FET.

We refused to spend anymore money on IUIs too. The RE said o'ing was the only problem we had, so we figured we'd give TI with injects a try. It totally sucks! Half the time, I'm so swollen and in pain from the meds, that the last thing I want to do is bd. Then he tends to get pressure anxiety after the first bd session. I so feel your pain.

I can't wait until we have enough money saved to try IVF. It shouldnt be this hard.

I am with you on this. I try not to tell my DH what days I "NEED" him to have sex with me & try to just let it come natural. We can have sex 3 days before & the day we need to, it's a no go but the next day is fine! I understand some ladies will be upset that we are upset & it's painful to have sex at times but IUI is not an option that will benefit us & would be a waste of $$. IVF is our only other route & I'm not ready for that.

MARRIED 9-15-07 TTC #1 since 11-07

Me: PCOS, IR & 2 copies of C677T MTHFR-Treatment: 1500mg of Metformin ER, 4mg of Folic Acid & Baby Aspirin. Husband tested=Perfect

5 rounds of Clomid 50 mg-TI-1 BFP resulted in M/C at 9wks D&C 9-15-08-4 BFNs
2 rounds of Femara 2.5 mg & 5 mg-TI-2 BFNs
5 rounds of Bravelle-various dosages+trigger-TI. 1 BFP resulted in C/P-4 BFNs
HSG 10/06/09 ALL CLEAR
Combo: Femara 5 mg (5days) & Bravelle 1 vial (3 days)+trigger-TI-BFN

***Currently: AF 02/23/10. Started 10units lupron 2-15-10 then bravelle 02/25/10 2 vials. U/S 03/02/10 shows good follicles. TSH 3.66 E2 235 & P4 1.1. Bravelle 2.5 vials until 03/04/10. U/S 03/05/10 1.5 vials bravelle, lupron 10 units trigger sat pm for IUI# 1 MON 03/08/10. Post wash 156 mill 2 wk wait. progesterone suppositories 2x day beta 03/22/10***
