Pulling, pushing, wiggling at breast? wth?

First off, I have a very low supply, so I know DD isn't getting as much as she'd like as fast as she'd like.  But she still likes the boob for what little she gets, so I continue to nurse her before feedings when possible and for comfort.  She had a frenulectomy 3 weeks ago (sadly no help with the supply) and now I feel like her latch is even worse than before.  Lately she will latch on and then spit the nipple out, then root franticly again, then latch but spit all but the tip of my nip out, repeat ad nauseum.  Even if/when she finally latches on, she'll push away from me eith her hands and feet and pull her head away and back and forth, all while holding on like crazy to my breast.  My nipples are as sore as they were the first 3 weeks! But she clearly wants the breast because if I take her off, she roots.  This happens no matter if i put her on hungry, full, having only had a partial feeding, or for comfort between feedings.  It also doesn't happen at every session, but I can't seem to pinpoint what situations are causing it. Any ideas?  i've already spent over $2000 seeing LCs and other practitioners just trying to BF, so I can't call another one.  HELP!

God I wish I had a magic solution for you. Do you have a pump? Have you tried getting your milk flowing then latching her?

I can say that I had some supply issuse for a bit and I started drinking 20oz of water after every feeding and pumping after every feeding....this helped me out a ton. They also say letting the baby marithon feed can help build you up as well. GL!

mine does this too especially when she has gas so maybe try relieving gas with mylicon and exercising her legs and burping often.

Could be gas--try gripe water or Mylicon. Or maybe it was something you ate? My son was doing this for 3 days and then I realized I ate veggie chili (with a ton of beans) 2 meals a day all weekend then bean burritos for dinner on Monday. (What can I say--I'm a vegetarian!) Since I've modified my diet, he's been fine.

Riley does this sometimes. i thought it was normal and she was just full. I pull her off and give her the pacifier.
