I want a treadmill for christmas

I like to run but I haven't been for quite some time b/c there really isn't anyplace to do it around where I live. So I think for christmas I'll ask for a treadmill. I need to get back into running b/c my blood pressure has been quite high....so

any suggestions.  I don't want to spend a ton of money. I've been keeping an eye out on craigs list hoping I would find something nice for not a terribly expensive price.

 any help/suggestions would be appreciated!

I have a Triumph and got it from Academy. It was around $400. I have been pleased with it so far.

Go to consumerreports.com and look at their yearly fitness equipment report.

Try treadmilldoctore.com

I bought a treadmill from Smooth Fitness and DH and I love it. Commercial grade without the huge price tag.

We bought the NordicTrack Commercial treadmill from Costco - it was about $850.  They don't have it online, but it's still in the stores here in CO.  I think it is a great deal.  It's a lot better quality than the cheaper new ones you'll find, and probably just as good as the $1,000+ machines.  In my research, I found that the higher priced ones usually just had more programs.  If you find one with a 3.0HP motor, it's probably pretty good.

Definitely keep looking on Craigslist - you might find a great deal.  Just research the machine before you go see it and then be sure to try running on it before you buy it.  www.treadmilldoctor.com is a good website for reviews.
