Longalls....

I can't remember who posted about longalls this week.  However, if you are looking for something cute for DS to wear, you should go to Charlotte's in Raleigh.  They have the cutest red plaid longalls with a picture of Santa on them.  They are adorable!  The bad news is that they only come in size 0-6 months!

I had no idea what "longalls" were until you posted the link.

So someone tell me, is there a difference between longalls and overalls?  Cuz that's what I call them.

I know it sounds dumb, but the difference is the way the top of them is cut!  If you were to buy a pattern to make them, they would be labeled differently, longalls are pretty easy to cut a pattern for, overalls actually, not so much!

I think ctnj made the post, but I've also been on the lookout for some! Those are really cute. I actually ended up finding a couple of pairs at Dillards of all places (at Cary Town Center). They had a really nice selection of "traditional" dressy clothes for baby. They carried the Petit Ami line and had some really cute Christmas ones as well as some you could wear any time (in light blue, green, etc). They went up to at least size 12 mos. I got this pair for Christmas, although I paid a lot less at Dillards! I also had to get this pair. In my DH's job, he spends a lot of time on John Deere equipment, so I thought he would appreciate these!

Those are precious!  Thanks for posting!  And also thanks for the Dillard's tip- I noticed that they had SUPER NICE baby girl clothes last year when looking for my neice, but had forgotten.
