H won't take his bottle. Any suggestions?

Ok, so H gets fruit w/ a little cereal mixed in for breakfast and a 7 oz. bottle after that. Normally he will eat all of his fruit and then guzzle the bottle. All this week he has eaten the solids fine but then he drinks about 3-4 oz. of milk and then starts playing with the bottle. At 1st I thought he was doing it to be silly bc he was laughing and smiling all while he was doing it and then he would put it back into his mouth like he was going to drink more and then take it out again. Well this morning he was doing that but then I put it back in his mouth and he took it right back out. He got mad at me for taking it away but he was not going to drink any more. He's sitting and playing right now, not acting like he's hungry. I usually give him the rest of his bottle when he gets up from his nap. Oh and his 2nd tooth just popped through this past weekend so I don't know if that has anything to do w/ it or not. He also does this at lunch too. Do you think he's just full?

Lil seems to eat less when she is teething.  And I'm not sure if it's any different with formula but I give her a bottle (I express pump now), wait a bit and then give her breakfast...same with lunch and dinner.  Could you try giving the bottle first?

He needs the milk more than the fruit at this point.  You should give him the bottle first and then feed him solids afterward.

Agreed....milk first, solids second.  We always give a bottle first thing when he wakes up, then wait 20-30 minutes for breakfast so that he has time to digest a bit.

It is really common that kids have picky eating habits when they are teething.  I'm sure it correlates to the teeth coming in. Give it a few days and hopefully it will be back to normal.
