cleaning slate tiles?

How do you clean the slate tile flooring?

It is very uneven in texture, so it seems hard to mop.

Any tips?

I saw on Designed to Sell that they used Shaving Cream and a rag.  It appeared to work fairly well.  I have not done this in real life however so I can't say how practical it really is (especially for large areas).

Thanks...kind of odd.  I would think it would be sticky.  My DH brought me the cleaning solution...HA!! Did not know we had it!! I used what i had which was mop -n- glow...it made it sticky, but shiney! I put a bunch of water down and mopped it with a towel to get some of that off and it is pretty good now.  I need a real mop, i only have a swifter for my other flooring.
