one christmas - H and i went to my aunt and uncles for dinner

on christmas eve.

they had us over (this is when we were not getting along with my parents, that's why they weren't there).  anyways, i was offered a glass of wine and partway through that first glass, i went to set it down on the counter and the glass just shattered and wine went everywhere!

lol, no biggie.  we cleaned it up.

the following year, we went again to their house for xmas.  they passed me a glass of wine at the dinner table and we all remember what happened last year. and we laughed.

second time i went to reach for the glass, i touched the glass and it literally shattered again!

it was sooo bizarre. 

anyways, this story brought to you by me, the lady who broke two wine glasses this morning emptying the dishwasher!

 
my personal mentor is a whiney baby who like, knows ambassadors and shizz.

lol, strongwoman!

 

 

Any consolation? I break glass like crazy and often shatter them by merely touching them.  dh is forever pulling glass slivers out of my feet. (this happens nearly weekly)  

 

We don't own any crystal, needless to say.   I'll admit that I've cried from time to time when I've broken one I really like.  I shouldn't because it's only a matter of time before every glass gets broken, but sometimes it's just so discouraging to break everything i touch! ;) 

ps. the WORST is picking glass out of the dishwasher, isn't it?!?!
