I live in the Northshore and would like to take a sewing class - Does anyone know where to go?

I just can't seem to find the things that I am looking for and they all seem so pricey that I have just about had it.  My friends mother makes everything for her and I cant help but think she has the right idea.  No more looking everywhere for what I want - I will make it myself damn it!  :)

Just one problem - I cant sew!!!!

Check out community colleges cont. education. I think North Shore Community College has some classes that you could take. You will need to have a sewing machine though (which you might want to get anyway if you expect to continue to sew often).
