....which is nice. Things haven't been great with my dad and I since I confronted him about his affair. I am supposed to work on forgiveness and I haven't. My sister was closer to him to begin with and has had an easier time moving on.
We go to dinner at my parent's house every week. I usually ignore him as much as I can without being downright rude - he tries more, but I'm short and curt with him most times. This weekend when we were there, my dad had a bunch of contacts for me for wedding stuff. He is a commercial photographer and had spokent to several of his friends. There is a florist (flowerdivas.com) who have a warehouse next to his studio that wants to meet with me. He also is contacting one of the makeup artists he knows that several of his advertising firms that he has done work for use for their models for print ads. He thinks they'll give me a big deal and would be available because they mainly work during the week. I know he is trying and is so happy for Alex and I and has really been interested in hearing about the planning and is getting so excited for our engagement party - he is having one of his photographer friends come to take photographs for the party.
I still have a long way to go, but I'm glad he's trying.
