Moving bummer

Each year I get my hopes up about potentially moving to a bigger apartment. I love the neighborhood we live in because of how close it is to things, so I always look to see what's available around here. There's a new building that's going to have apartments and although it includes a good amount of amenities, it's so expensive. I am reminded of how expensive it can get to live in this city

Yeah. It sucks.

What sucks even more is that I always compare the prices here to how they are back in Miami. So it makes me want to move out of this state even more

I do that too, except I don't compare it to back home because prices there are equally as expensive if not more.. But everything is so much newer and bigger. I hate living in MA, I wish we could move somewhere with better weather but I must give up my dreams that won't be happening until MH retires..

I am lucky in that sense because DH hates living up here as well.

Would you move back to CA if you could?

As much as miss living in the city (we used to live on Park Drive right by Fenway Park), I don't miss the small space or the high price tag. I remember when we were looking to move before the wedding and we thought about moving to another, bigger place in the city. We looked at one place that charged the same amount of money for a studio that our current community charges for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment plus garage.

DH and I are always comparing it to prices in Ohio where he is from. It would be much cheaper to live there....probably cheaper for us to live in SoCal where I'm from too.

He's Nick. I'm Nikki. Thus we are "The Nicks" est. 8/18/07
