Women's Retreat: Spirituality in Life and Work

I posted on Wednesday my idea of leading a retreat on Spirituality in Life and Work with some of you Nesties!  Here's a description again and some possible dates below:

Everyone is welcome to attend regardless of religious affiliation or none at all. The focus would be finding spiritual meaning in our work and daily life--thinking about our life journey so far and where we want to go. We would have practices such as journaling, meditation and/or prayer, collage, etc. during the retreat.

I am thinking of a 9-3 Saturday format (with break time for lunch), or it could be two or three evenings. Cost would depend on location, food and materials, but probably around $15 per person.

Due to other events and my upcoming arrival, possible Spring dates are Saturday, May 31st (NOT Memorial Day Weekend--Memorial Day is actually the weekend before this year!), or Saturday, June 14th.  If either of those dates work, please let me know.  The other possibility is doing a shorter version 2 evenings in a row, from 7-9.  Otherwise, we will postpone until the fall.

I originally said I'd like to have 8-10 people but we have 14 already interested, so we'll keep it open.

This is the first time I will have led this sort of retreat, but hopefully it will be helpful, insightful, and a time for people to reflect on their lives and where they find meaning.

I'm thinking the 31st works better for me (June 14th's the day before Father's Day, I believe).  I can only go if I get a ride, though!

Either one is good for me. A whole Saturday works out best on my end because I couldn’t do a few nights a week. Between work and traffic I would never make it! I am very excited about this and can’t wait to come!

Either day works for me right now, and I'd be willing to drive/carpool with other Nesties from the Boston area. I'm really looking forward to this!

May 31st is good for me. Maybe the 14th. I am supposed to be getting a baby shower but since it's an odd situation, I have no idea what is going on (Nor do I want to) but the 14th might not be as good, just in case.

In either case, I need to know asap as I have to request if off work.

I am looking forward to it!!!

We may be moving the weekend of the 31 (eeekkkk!) so the 14th is a safer bet for me.  If I can't make it this first round, I'd love to try for the second.  :)
