Moms: Baby Gap Sizing

Does Baby Gap run big, small, or true to size?  I have 0-3 month clothes for Abby (she's only 8 1/2 lbs) now for the summer and I want to know if I should exchange for 3-6

Thanks!

I have had a couple different experiences. I always thought they were very true to size. However a couple of her dresses have been big. One is a 3-6 and she just wore that last week. She has a pair of 12 mo capris and she wore them last summer as pants and yesterday as capris. She is just starting in 18 mo clothes now. Most are too big. I would say keep your receipts and take a look at the individual item to see if it looks big or small. I didnt expect to have such a strange experience with the Gap sizing.

I find that Gap runs like Carter's, pretty close but on the big side.

I think they run pretty much true to size but yes slightly on the larger size.. I do however find that by the end of the day the sleeves and necks of onesies and shirts seem so streched out that they look 2 sizes too big by the time I take if off DS!!

When RP was little they were true to size. But I just bought him a pair of pants in a size 2 (he's in 24m or 2T now) and they're HUGE on him.

I find they run bigger. My daughter still wears her 12-18 month gap pants, but bigger shirts. She wears a 24 months in everything else
