Pregnancy questions!

When did you start to get a little belly? Or, when were your old clothes too uncomfortable to wear? I'm only 9 weeks but already squeezing into old clothes!!!! Arghhhhh! I think its too soon for maternity clothes!

I was in maternity full time by 8-10 weeks. A lot of it was bloat and decreased but maternity was more comfy.

Kristin loved her bella-band so that may be an inbetween option for you.

I actually just switched to maternity clothes at about 30 weeks. I got a few bella bands and was able to wear them with my regular jeans unbuttoned for almost the whole time, even with a belly.

Just do what's comfortable for you. Everyone's different. :)

Ok I might have to look into those Bella bands. Can you buy them in stores? As I type this, I'm sitting at my desk w/ my pants button un-done! haha

I think motherhood maternity has a knock off brand.

Here's the official website - they'll give you a list of retail/online stores you can get them. I still use mine with maternity jeans becasue the panels are too big for me and they always feel like they're falling down.

I loved the bella band. I was stupid and didn't get it until after I had the baby. But it allowed me to go back into my old clothes sooner. So I would imagine you'd get plenty of use out of it.

I started using a bella band at about 9 weeks - with jeans, things that don't stretch.  I still use it and it's great!  I do have 1 pair of maternity shorts and they're the coolest things ever:)  If you go to the site posted above, they have links of where to buy.  Just see which is cheapest.

I LOVED my bella band! I was a late bloomer, so to speak and was in my regular clothes until about 26 weeks, then I made the investment in a bella band and it was the best thing ever! I used it until I had Avery.

I was in my regular jeans until about 17-18 weeks - depending on the day sometimes I used my bella band and sometimes I didn't. I can still wear my regular jeans with my bella band now, I just don't because my maternity pants are super comfy.

Go to Motherhood Maternity in the mall (there's one at the outlets too) - they have maternity pants called Secret Fit something or other- they are the most comfortable pants I've found. The top part is super stretchy (so you could probably wear it now) and its made out of the same stuff the bella band is. Might be worth it to just get a few pair of those instead of the band, it really just depends on whats comfy to you.

I like the bella band, I just had issues because my jeans are so low cut, the top of the jeans would slip out of the band and I was constantly fooling with it.

I believe I was in full maternity clothes by the time I was about 10 weeks, I really didn't start showing until I was about that. I had a little pouch, but, nothing big! I got really big in my 3rd trimester!
