Mac and cheese was the first thing I learned to make and my in-laws frequent request. Mine is baked and I love it. Makes a ton so there are yummy left overs too.
- Cheese (I usually chop into cubes 3/4 of a baby loaf of cheddar and 1/2 a baby loaf swiss)
- Onion (chop up 1/3 onion)
- Elbow Mac (4 cups cooked)
- Milk (about a 1/2 cup)
- Bread crumbs
Mix cheese, onion, and macaroni in a large caserol dish then add a bit of milk. Cover and bake at 350 for 45mins. After the 45mins, pull the dish out, uncover, and then sprinkle a lttle bread crubs on top. Then bake for another 10mins to get a nice browned top.
