Chocolate dessert suggestion?

DH only eats chocolate desserts because he does not like fruit :), so my mom has asked me to bring a chocolate dessert for Thanksgiving. I want to make something I have not made before. Any suggestions?

I have made molten chocolate cakes in the past.  These are individual chocolate cakes that have a hot, flowing chocolate center that oozes out when cut into them.  They are awesome.  The recipe is from my Betty Crocker Christmas cookbook, but they have a new, easier recipe online: http://www.bettycrocker.com/Recipes/Recipe.aspx?recipeId=37785

Now I think I might have to make these this weekend Smile

This has been showing on the nest homepage recently, and I really want to make it, it looks delicious:

Other than that, chocolate cream pie is always a big hit for our family and it's so easy.  Graham cracker crust filled with chocolate pudding, topped with real whipped cream and chocolate shavings.mmm (You can also sprinkle heath bits as a topping)

yum. My husband loves chocolate mousse. You can make it one big dish or in individual serving portions, and it has to be made ahead of time anyway and refrigerated, so it's perfect to bring to someone's house. Martha Stewart has a really good, really simple recipe on her website.

Thanks so much to everyone for their suggestions. The link to the chocolate truffle cake looks like it is to die for :).

Here's a fun website - aout 50 different chocolate recipes to pick from!

Also, if you do a chocolate cake - try decorating with powdered sugar, it looks really good against the dark chocolate color.  Use a template or a cookie cutter, and make a design - my favorite is snowflakes!  For this one, cut the template out of tracing paper or wax paper with an exacto knife, and sprinkle the sugar gently over the template.  Don't worry about getting it perfect - it's still really pretty with soft edges!
