I think you have every right to be upset.  I agree that nephew won't really care you aren't there because his friends will be there and he won't have too much time to socialize with what I'm assuming will be a big crowd.   Hopefully YH gets the hint and you end up going to your reunion!  GL!

I'm with you. Its his turn to do to a thing with your family. You have your date....she picked hers and at the moment they are different weekends so explain that you agreed to go to your families thing and sorry she changed her date....

 Also if you can email someone saying YES we agree at least you have proof of when you agreed to it.

So far it is.  :)  In a nutshell, DH was going to stay home for nephew's grad party if it was the same weekend as my reunion in PA but I told him it's not our fault SIL changes dates 100 times before settling on one and we've already been to 6 parties on his side, plus will have at least 7 more.
