** mazziebee ** A Short History of Nearly Everything

I finished the first two parts of ASHONE!  Have you had a chance to start the book?  It's fascinating!

I finished the first part, and am nearly thru the second part...

I am loving parts of it, for example the sections on the origins of the universe, and measuring the earth, and finding its age etc.  I couldn't stand the sections on the atom and subatomic particles.

I love his descriptions of the eccentric characters....Bryson captures them so well.

What amazed me most was the distance between places within the universe.  I can't even imagine tens of thousands of years to get somewhere.

Do you want to do two parts a week and check in on Fridays?
