  • Technology hates me and I always end up with a defective item it seems. Even when W and I get the same exact phone, his will last forever and mine typically makes it just past the warranty!
  • I rolled my car when I was 16 and nobody got hurt. Even my mom's glass Christmas present in the trunk didn't break! That was an extremely lucky day!

      My mom had cleaned out my dresser drawers, unbeknownst to me. So when I went to open them...which usually required pulling really hard to get them open, the drawer came flying out and landed on my feet.  I ended up spraining both ankles and one was bad enough to require crutches.

      Not really

      No. I'm not a scary movie girl.

      One of my coworkers borrowed me a fertility coaster she was given when she was struggling with infertility.  The same coworker has given me a picture of the petri dish her twin girls lived in before being transfered!  I'm hoping these are good luck! :)

      Neural Tube Disorder pregnancy, the MFM counselor literally said it was probably just a case of 'bad luck' since there was no 'reason' for it to have happened.

      I won a drawing for a $25 Olive Garden gift card at work.

    1. Has anything memorable happened to you on a Friday the 13th The field I work in, we generally have much more dramatic shifts on Friday the 13th. The last Friday the 13th I worked, my boss, myself and another co-worker all dealt with our alarms not going off that morning.
    2. Are you superstitious? Just a healthy dose.

    4. Have you seen the movie, Friday the 13th? Did you like it? I have, and yes. Although, Nightmare on Elm Street is more my style!
    5. CBH - If you had to schedule a c-section and you were given Friday the 13th, would you try to change it? I might mention it, but if it caused too much trouble then no. Not enough to rearrange things.
    6. What is an example of bad luck you have had? I went to a movie with my girlfriends the other day, and the woman at the counter asked if we would donate $1 to an education fund. My friend said no, so I said yes and jokingly said, "I'll do it because I'm a better person than she is." Afterward we stopped at the restroom on the way in, and the stall I chose wouldn't lock. Then, the sink I chose wouldn't work. The seat I chose in the theater was broken. Karma had a good chuckle at my expense. Bia.
    7. What is an example of good luck you have had? I once called a radio station to request a song (I wasn't listening to the radio before I dialed) and I accidentally won concert tickets by being the 10th caller.

    1. Has anything memorable happened to you on a Friday the 13th? I was in a very bad car accident.  I still have problems with my neck and was afraid to drive on Friday the 13 for at least five years after that.
    2. Are you superstitious?  less than I used to be.
