How do you store your makeup?

We don't have a lot of room in our bathroom and I think my husband gets irritated that my makeup takes up so many drawers. I'm looking at new ways to store my makeup that would make it easier to keep it organized, and also out of the way. Thank y'all!

I use little plastic trays from the dollar store.  The trays are about 5"x7".  I have one for face (foundation, concealer), one for eyes, one for lips, and one for blush & powder.  The four trays fit in 1 drawer.  Make-up I use rarely or have fallen out of love with goes in one 8"x10" tray in the linen closet.  My make-up brushes stay on the counter in a glass jar.

My go-to daily makeup is in an acrylic tray, like this:

Everything else is in plastic boxes (technically pencil boxes) and in an out of the way drawer.  (one for eye shadow, one for eye liner, one for lipstick, one for lipgloss, one for blush, etc....)

I keep my everyday items in a bag in the bathroom and it fits in one drawer with room to spare. Then I keep the rest in my left over Birchbox boxes in a closet

I just bought a caboodle at target!  I love it. It is just as awesome as it was when I was in middle school, even if I don't have any Wet N Eiln cosmetics in it anymore.

I still have my original caboodle from when I was a kid too! =]  It stores all my old makeup or makeup I don't wear very often, along with some other stuff.

I store my makeup in a makeup bag, which I just keep in one of the bathroom drawers.

I keep mine in multiple bathroom vanity drawers so that's no help to you, lol.  BUT, I have a couple ideas for you:

An over-the-door hanging shoe organizer like this, or any other hanging organizer, like for traveling, jewelry, etc. -

or

A makeup carousel -

Since we're speaking of Caboodle's, add me to the list - still got mine too, haha! I keep a bunch of my old jewelry and stuff in it...

Oh goodness.  You don't want to know.  I have some in a tackle box (not quite a caboodle... because those didn't have enough space.  The rest is in those plastic drawers.  I got them at Walmart.  I would love to have a vanity in my bathroom, but unfortunately when your house is built in 1917, they don't exactly have big bathrooms.

Paprika: I like it when you burp in my ear. It really turns me on.

I love the make up carousal, so I googled it... and I don't like the price.  Has anyone seen this for less than $30?

I use the three drawer plastic Rubbermaid containers that you can set on the counter. This is how I personally organize my drawers:

Drawer 1: foundation, concealer, primer, blush, bronzer, etc.

Drawer 2:eyeshadow, eye primer, mascara, liner, etc.

Drawer 3: lip gloss, lip stick, etc.

Then I just use a nice glass to put my makeup brushes next to it.
