Old Building -- Windows

Hi! I'm new.

I have a question. Moving into a very old building with big windows. The trim is all thick, rich, original woodwork. I'd love to make the most of this, and prefer a sort of masculine style, does anyone have any guidelines? I'd love to really play up the windows, as they're such a neat feature, but have no idea how. The apartment is on the top floor, and I'll likely remove the (yucky) blinds, but privacy isn't hugely important as no one can really see in...

TIA!

Try roman shades instead of curtains and do an inside mount.

Romans window is a good idea, no doubt, but its better to use blinds..

When I got replacement windows last year, we painted the trim to compliment the blinds we purchased, and it came out unbelievable! I would suggest finding an awesome color combination, then choosing which color to use for the window trim and the blinds.
