What colors should I paint my cabinets and walls? I put up a link. :)

We have this old yellow, blue and grey backsplash and blue counters. We can't afford to change any of that for some time.. All we can afford is paint and new hardware. What do you suggest? Blue cabinets? Yellow walls? Grey cabinets, blue walls??? Any suggestions help. Thanks! O yes, floor is a white grey tile. Thanks I tried uploading a pic, but couldn't do it.. Not sure why... :) https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-sVkasheeuK8/ULjPpOER21I/AAAAAAAAABY/fQNc_ucY7Jg/s647/IMG00205-20121129-0850+%281%29.jpg I think this is the link.. Sorry girls, I can be pretty computer illiterate! Thanks for your suggestions.

If you can't manage PIP, just post the link.  We'll figure it out.

The better answer than trying to work with those crazy colors is just to paint them some inoffensive neutral color.

Countertop paint.

Tile paint info.

They're not that bad IMO.  I'd probably give the cabinets a fresh coat of white paint and paint the walls a pale yellow or blue.

No they're not that bad, I was just looking for a fresher look. Was trying to get away from the white cabinets, and give the kitchen a little color... Do you think if the cabinets were a color of some sort it would be too much??? I have he rest of the house figured out, Lol, just can't picture the kitchen... Thanks Tars!!!!

I would stay neutral with the cabinet colors -- I think it could look too out there (and maybe old fashioned) with a color.  I would bring out the colors in the black splash and probably do a grey cabinet. Maybe a light yellow paint to surround.

I've said this on everything I've commented on tonight lol But Pinterest is AMAZING!! Here is a link to spray pint your cupboards and it looks GREAT! You can also paint the counter tops. I'll add a link for the cupboards and another for stainless painted counter tops. Although there are other ways to paint your counter tops without going stainless and it loos good as well.

Good luck :)

I like that back splash. It really gives you something to work with. I just repainted our cabinets in our kitchen and it was a TON of work. We enjoy the projects around the house, but I recommend you read read read read about repainting cabinets before you get started.  Anyway, what if you did a really cool retro blue - like whats in the back splash - on just the bottom cabinets?? You said you wanted a pop of color and that might just do it. You can keep the top cabinets neutral. It will make the room seem larger too. Just a thought! Good luck!!
