Pinterest and Houzz are SO gosh darn addictive. LOVE THEM.  Also google image searches help a lot when you're looking for a specific project or colors (searching "Blue and Yellow Bathroom" or something like that helps a lot.

 

We just redid our kitchen, and I got a wonderful idea to gut a nearby closet (in the middle of the dining room/hallway...odd spot for a closet) and create a bar!  It has totally changed that area and I love it -- and the inspiration came from google!

I have a pinterest board called "cool rooms" that i just keep pinning all the neat ideas to. Both pinterest and houzz have ipad/iphone apps. can't tell you how many times i've been in bed flipping through them and glanced at the clock to see that HOURS have passed! =)

Some pretty great blogs for decor and or diy inspiration;  centsationalgirl, house of fifty, designfluff, from gardners two bergers, a delightful design,  JPM Design, my champagne taste.

 

Some are more modern and some are more traditional.

Pintrest is great but you have to remember that everybody can upload just about anything on there. In my opinion you are better off going with a blog written/approved by a professional interior designer. My friend used this interior designer in Minneapolis, and she got great results. I'm not saying call her up but if you take a look at her blog, there are some good ideas that came from a professional without the price tag!
