Cheap insurance, cell/internet/cable

I am looking to save some money each month. I am looking into changing our cell phone plans from ATT at $160/month, we would like to keep texting and web on our phones. I would like to change my cable and internet from ATT at $110/month as well, we would like to keep HD and DVR services here. I am also looking into changing our insurance plans. Right now we have life insurance for $42/month and car insurance (2 cars, full coverage) at $150/month with State Farm. Any suggestions or company recommendations to save money in these areas?

When DH switched jobs he had to get a new cell plan (his employer held his previous contract).  He signed up with T-Mobile and is paying around $75/mo (with taxes) for unlimited talk, text, and web.  He's getting a discount based on where we bank.

We pay around $75/month for internet and cable (we have no home phone) through Charter.  We're in a contract, but it's the cheapest we've ever paid.  Our promo is about to expire (and we'll be out of a contract) so I'll be calling soon to see what other offers they have.

We pay $37.63 for life insurance for both of us to have $500k.  I'm 28 and DH is 31, we both qualified for the best rate.  We have Lincoln Benefit.

We pay $130/month for Allstate full coverage with $500 deductibles.  I have a 2007 Chrysler T&C, DH has a 2008 Honda Fit.

Something to keep in mind when shopping around for cell phone coverage is unlimited use. More companies are getting away from offering unlimited text/data. AT&T no longer offers it but they are grandfathering people unlike Verizon. So depending on your data/texting use, you may be better off staying. But do compare plans, it's the only way you'll know if it's worth changing when your contract term is over. For insurance, unfortnately the only way to determine if those are the best rates possible is to call around to different companies or go online & get quotes. State Farm may be cheaper then Allstate for one person but then for the next person Allstate or Geico or another company may be cheaper then State Farm. You have to shop around & compare. But make sure they are quoting you exactley the same coverage you already have so that you can make an applies to apples comparison of rates.
