We went for our honeymoon in August.
The beach was very nice, and the ocean is blue :-) We really enjoyed it, and thought the service was wonderful. But we stayed at a different resort.
I personally think it is worth it. We would go back. If you want more adventure, there are excursions you can book to see more "cultural" things. Otherwise, just relax and enjoy the sun. Bring a good book with, and enjoy some fruity drinks.
