D&R help needed with possible new house purchase!

Short backstory - we can't sell our TH so we're going to rent it out, unfortunately, that lessens what we can pay for a house.  We absolutely fell in LOVE with the neighborhood of the house below(our own boatslip, neighborhood beach, awesome neighbors), but it needs a lot of updating(kitchen, bathrooms, etc).  We're going to focus on the front outside of the house first - any ideas on what to do with the pink/coral areas would be appreciated.

I live near the TCs too. I think the decorative trim is charming for your area (especially on Prior Lake), but I'd perhaps paint it a darker color that coordinates with the brick. Not black, but a brown of some sort.
