I need a salad that goes with beef roast

Any ideas for a salad that goes with a beef roast? Bonus points for if it is kid friendly. Wink

What about a mixed green an frisee salad with sauteed mushrooms and caramelized or crispy onions? Or my favorite is spinach salad w/goat cheese, pecans and cranberry
