I love giving a good gift that I know someone will enjoy, but it's hard to come up with that for everyone every year, so some people it becomes obligation. I do like seeing people open my gifts, though.

4. If you could only have one Christmas present, what would it be? A realistic one or a dream one? Realistically, I want what my parents are getting us - a new tv! My dream gift would be a vacation, though!

1. Who do you buy presents for? I buy for DH and then together we buy for his parents, my parents, his brothers and their SO's, his grandparents, my brother and SIL, and my niece and nephew. Whew...that's a lot a gifts.

3. Do you buy presents because you want to or because you feel it's expected of you? I do it because I want to. Christmas is really the only gift giving occasion throughout the year with my family. We are not big on birthday gifts, etc. It's the time of year to really show those you love that you are thinking about them and appreciate all they do.

4. If you could only have one Christmas present, what would it be? Hmmm...not sure!! Probably a food processor - I really want one!

DH and I don't usually buy presents for each other...this year, DH bought a new $180 pair of hunting boots so I got the same amount of $ to spend on myself for Christmas...but I bought it all myself so it wasn't really a present.

I love the Christmas season but I would totally be game for not giving or getting presents at all. I don't like shopping at this time of year or racking my brain for what to buy for people. But buying off someone's list seems so...predictable.

4. If you could only have one Christmas present, what would it be? A new digital camera. Mine is 5 years old and so many advances have been made since then!
