Work Outing- SUCKS!

So my work does quarterly 'outings'.  We insure nonprofits and one of them happens to be the National Aviary.  So we're going there for a tour, show and lunch.  Here's the thing: I FREAKING HATE BIRDS!!  I'm afraid of anything that can fly and peck!  And the first part of our visit is the FlightZone show!  WTF people, this is not funny!!!

I guess I have to remember then that you and Nate won't join us for Breakfast with the Birds one day, huh?

My H hates birds too. My mom used to have two that she let fly around the house during the day and he wouldn't even come into her house if they were out!

One of the girls I work with suggested taping a big plastic owl to my shoulder to keep the birds away.  I cracked up!  If it worked, I would probably do it!

Shelly I HATE birds too!

My nieces 1st birthday party was at the Aivary and I took 2 xanaxs I was soo freaked out..

Ok, what if I took some xanax AND taped the owl to my shoulder!?  That would be HILARIOUS.  If I didn't think I'd get fired, I would totally do this!

that's so funny, I'm going there on Friday with Amelia!  I don't mind birds, but I don't want to take care of them or anything!  Amelia loves 'em.  She'll hear them and yell "BIRRRRR".  Our jaunt should be interesting!
