Adam and I moved into our "fixer" house June of 2006. We decided we wanted to tackle the living room first, so that we would have a nice and relaxing room as we rennovate the rest of the house. The before pictures of this house will tell you that that is the reason why Adam did not want to buy this house. But I assured him that I could fix it up to be warm and cozy and that this house had great bones, it was just stuck in the 60's. Below you will see the lovely wood paneling and blue carpet and the ugliest fireplace we have ever seen:
