Hi!! I'm a Portland nestie coming up for a concert this week, we will only be there one night, and just looking for a decent place to eat dinner(maybe happy hour?), hopefully right on the water? We are staying right by the Seattle Center and would love a fun place within walking distance. Our hotel is by a McCormicks but we have a ton of those in Portland and would love a fun new place for dinner. Someplace we could wear "dressy jeans and a sweater", steak and seafood, full bar, dinner for 2 and

So I am making a ham tonight for dinner, along with my cousins mac N cheese. I should probably throw in something that the boys will eat. Any recommendations?? I am thinking of a potato and a vegetable. Something easy it seems :) Thanks ladies.

It is spring break for me right now, so I decided to make a huge traditional Thanksgiving dinner for tonight! Cooking, of course is already in the works. I am making: Turkey Homemade Turkey Gravy (Grandma special recipe!) Stuffing Candied Yams Salad Croissants Cranberries I am even busting out our fine china!! DH and I are VERY excited for dinner!

i could eat a frozen amy's organic pizza, or i could order from the yummy zen asian bistro and have dinner delivered. dh is playing poker at a friend's house so i don't feel like cooking anything, but i don't know that i feel like spending money on dinner either....what to do, what to do?

DH got a $50 gift card to outback from my parents for Valentine's Day. We haven't gone yet because i've been so limited on what I can handle eating. I'm having a good day today, so we decided to go have a really nice steak dinner at Flemmings (owned by outback) to celebrate the house. I hope I can handle the steak- but i'm really the most excited about cheesy potatoes. YUM!

We've been really good about eating at home lately, but it's kind of slim pickins right now. I need to cook a chicken breast 'cause I pulled it out of the freezer a couple days ago to make CCC's and we ordered Chinese instead. :-) But it's hot and I don't wanna turn on the over. Blah. Since DH won't tell me what he is hungry for my sister and I came up with a plan. Each week (or as long as it takes for him to figure it out) I am going to feature something as the base for every meal. Next week will be meatballs. I need to come up with 5 or 6 different meatball meals. So far I have meatballs with gravy and noodles, meatball sandwiches, meatball parmesan with pasta, and sweet and sour meatballs over rice... any other suggestions?

I am having some college friends over for dinner for girls night in about an hour! We are planning on having: - Appetizer: Red Pepper Bruschetta with Feta - Main meal: Spinach lasagna with bread and dipping oil - Dessert: Brownies Do you all think I need to get some salad? I had thought no to salad because it was a spinach lasanga, but now I am not sure? Advise please!
