Teacher Job Fair Suggestions?
I'm going to one in Dublin tomorrow. I have little idea what to expect. What should I be prepared to say? Should I bring a resume and cover letter or just resume? I have references established but not all their letters in hand yet. Is that okay? What else should I be thinking about to prepare.

a former teacher? It's hard, knowing you want to switch careers, but being qualified for *everything* and *nothing* at the same time...it's quite a weird search! I've already contacted a professional resume service to re-work my resume, based on skills, rather than experiences (apparently that's what I had to do, tailor a resume for non-classroom work). local woman lost job for pumping (breast milk)
This just breaks my heart... She worked at the Golden Pioneer Museum. Two weeks ago she was told that she was no longer allowed to pump at work. I just received the following update from her: "On April 8th I had a meeting with my employer and she presented me with only two options either resign or be fired. WWYD? Job situation
So I’ve gone on two interviews for this one company. On the positive side, it is a fantastic opportunity intellectually. From month to month, I would be responsible for the closing process and getting the reports out to management. In the shorter term, I would be working hand in hand with the controller and CFO to create an accounting policy in writing and helping to implement it. I would have the opportunity to move up into an accounting manager function. I would be working with external auditors.

Sure Raytheon, go on and email me about the wonderful positions you have available that I'm perfectly qualified for... in AZ ... when we're moving to CO ... It's fantastic that even though you have a facility where we're moving, it has ZERO available mechanical engineering positions listed. Not to mention we actually looked into going to that exact location in AZ (where we have friends), but couldn't get the assignment. No biggie, just twist the knife a little. Sorry - this whole relocation thing

I started my new job.... help me please ;)
Well, I have finished my first week of work and really like the job and the company. It's really great! But, I feel like I don't have any time to think and after a day of all the social interaction, I am feeling completely exhausted. It's almost like I need a day off for every day worked! LOL I enjoy the social interaction, but need think/quiet time to compensate and don't get it, since by the time I get home, I am already preping for the next day, which causes my thoughts to be related to work.

New Job Advice RECRUITORS HELP!!!
Nykola where are you???? THere is a job I really really really want. Amazing pay & benefits. I'm working with one recruitor on it, I've been presented to the CFO (who is on vacation) But now I have another recruitor company that I work with, and they want to present me to the same company! I know I'm not suppose to be presented by two recruitors...but I really really want this job and I'm a little tired of "playing it cool" The new recruitor thinks it's a great opportunity and knows the CFO well....

AW: My new job!
I am so excited! I am in ES counselor and I have been trying for 4 years to get into a HS position. My school district just moved me to the HS, so I get the job I want without losing my tenure!!!

We're small business owners now~~
What a whirlwind of a ride! We feel as though we're not completely ready yet, but we're certainly fully capable of operating. All we really need is my husband to show up! ^^;; My husband will be running KO Taekwondo Academy at one of the Life Time Fitness centers here. We hope to operate in another location soon, but for now, we'll be just at the one. We weren't expecting that once he got in contact with someone there that he'd be up-and-running within two weeks (he starts teaching next Tuesday!),
