Already on maternity leave
My dr took me off of work today, at 32 weeks. She said my blood pressure has dropped a lot w/in the last 2 weeks, which isnt good. So no work for 14 weeks! Thats assuming I go on time. I highly doubt I will go late because of what I was told today. if I go on time I will be off work for 14 weeks. This is 3 months and 2 weeks. I will not know how to act, I will go crazy. Even Aaron told me I will go crazy. At least I will be able to relax, and get everything done for the baby. My dr also advised me

work related vent
Here's the back story: I'm a teacher and the last names of teachers in my department are ridiculously similar sounding. Four of us (out of 13) start with a Wi- or Whi- combination. The teacher whose name is closest to mine is also similar to me in age and looks. We're constantly getting each others mail and parents are always emailing me about her students and vice versa. The vent: The week before Spring Break she announced to our department that she's pg. This morning she fainted during first period

What have I been up to?
Ive gained 5lbs! I have never been so happy to say that. My dr will be happy on monday. I have been eating junk food like crazy, and Alyssa has been jumping all over the place. She probably wants to know what on earth her mother is doing to her lol. Girls Day Out , was so much fun. Haley enjoyed herself so much, shes still talking about it. When I took her to the library, she had a smile from ear to ear. She got 10 books! and she has read them all, and is reading them again. I even got 2 breastfeeding

Q: Unsure of parent potential?
Q: Right now I'm stay-at-home and 12 weeks pregnant. I can't seem to get the motivation together to keep everything neat and organized in the house like I did before. Because of this I feel like I'm going to be an inadequate mom. I mean, if I can't even keep my house clean while being pregnant, how am I going to be able to take good care of the baby? Tammy Gold: It is very important to remember you are still in your first trimester of pregnancy, where fatigue is still one of the most common symptoms.

Pregnancy questions!
When did you start to get a little belly? Or, when were your old clothes too uncomfortable to wear? I'm only 9 weeks but already squeezing into old clothes!!!! Arghhhhh! I think its too soon for maternity clothes!

31 weeks
I will be offically 31 weeks on 4/7 and im anxious. 9 weeks until my due date 11 weeks until my dr induces. I really hope I dont have to be induced, but my dr does not want me to go past 41 weeks. Ive realized that ive been so consumed with this pregnancy, that I have left Haley out. So tomorrow we are having a girls day out, after she gets out of school. We will go to the library, where she will pick out any book(s) that she wants, then we will go have ice cream. After that we will go pick out a

The Joys of Pregnancy
There are days when I love being pregnant, and says when I am abostlutely miserable. Today is one of those days. My back is killing me. I cant even slouch on the couch anymore. I have to sit upright with a pillow behind me, to be comfortable for 30 minutes. Getting out of bed has become harder, if I have to pee, I have to jump up or I will pee my pants. My appetite is back, this is good and bad. Towards the end of my 2nd trimester and the start of the 3rd I lost my entire appetitie. Now its back,

Joke: Pregnancy Q&A
Q. Should I have a baby after 35? A. No, 35 children is enough. Q: I'm two months pregnant now. When will my baby move? A: With any luck, right after he finishes college. Q: What is the most reliable method to determine a baby's sex? A: Childbirth. Q: My wife is five months pregnant and so moody that sometimes she's borderline irrational. A: So what's your question? Q: My childbirth instructor says it's not pain I'll feel during labor, but pressure. Is she right? A: Yes, in the same way that a tornado

A little update
Since my last post, I have been back at work, and everything is fine. When I saw my boss I thought she would give me the evil eye, but she talked to me like nothing had ever happend. She even *gasp* asked me how my pregnancy was going, I was shocked. I told her it was fine, I just have backaches, which is normal in the 3rd trimesnter. She seemed concerned, which was weird. Maybe she got a wakeup call from her boss. Ive been to the dr, and everything is good. My dr wants me to gain weight, great!

A Baby Filled Weekend
This saturday was my friend j's baby shower. It was sooo nice, her sister did a lot of the planning and decorating and really outdid herself. It was actually probably the biggest shower i've ever been to (italian family) and the food was excellent. j looked adorable, love her baby bump, and there were 5 other pregs women there! all in different stages of pregnancy! it definitely made me want to be preg, but all in due time! She got such adorable stuff... even though she isn't finding out what the

Ahh, pregnancy...
I've been MIA for a few days... getting used to the hyperemesis again with a toddler around is so not easy. Definitely selective memory on my part. I was like, oh, it won't be as bad as last time... yeah right. This is pretty much a poor poor me post. :-) This is the first time I've been up for sitting at the computer in awhile and I'm already feeling woozy looking at the screen. Sooo... the next couple months (at least) will be interesting at best, especially trying to box up and move soon. I'm

7 Months and Counting.....
Man, I haven't blogged in forever!! It seems like an eternity since I got my BFP, and I'm still pregnant!! Since then we have been through morning sickness, finding out what she is, and now I'm 29 weeks and heading into the final stretch. Pregnancy has not been the easiest time for me. I was sick for the first 20 weeks, and ever since then it seems like it has been one thing after another. I have been through debilitating back pain, and various other ailments that have led me to not enjoy being pregnant.

All these pregnancy posts have me thinking!!
I got induce with my daughter and loved it..I knew when everything was gonna happen so no surprises and since it was my first child I was relieved not to have to "know when I was in labor" like I wouldn't know now?!! Anyways, I'm due in late August (we find out April Fools day! YEAH!) Ok so I got to thinking....this one I'd really like to be "surprise my water just broke!" type of pregnancy. If you could choose which would you prefer?? My husband seems to think that the surprise thing really will

GD test and hospital registration
Today I took my GD test, and that stuff isnt so bad, its the after effect of it all. I had a sugar rush, then I crashed. I felt like I had to pass out. I ate a burger, then a popcicle, then some eggs to get my energy back, and that worked. I should get my results back by monday In between the hour I went to the hospital to register, only took 5 minutes. The receptionist told me to come back at 12 if I wanted the tour, so i was excited for that. After registering I came home and killed 20 minutes,

98.6 degrees
I Googled something along the lines of "hate children" recently to see how normal it is, and I've come to the realization that I don't. Some people hate children so much they want to set fire to them. Actually, I like other people's children! I think babies look like "unwashed fruit" as Dave Barry once said, I guess some are all right, and they annoy the crap out of me with their slow learning and inability to care for themselves. But once they can talk, kids are pretty cool. For short periods of

6 More Weeks
Until maternity leave, and let me tell you I CANNOT WAIT! I have never been this eager to stop working. I am uncomfortable, and just want to sleep. I had all this energy in the 2nd trimester, but now I feel like im back in my 1st. Yesterday I just slept all day, I couldnt do anything else, my body was weak. I just looked very pitiful. Today is the day I get to register at the hospital! Im excited about that. Its the same hospital I had Haley at, but its completely remodled, so I cant wait to see

6 Months From Now...
So this weekend my friend wants to go for the BM dresses for her wedding. I unfortunately can't make it (i have a baby shower) but told her i would just send her my measurements and she could order for me. I'm fine with whatever she picks, it is after all, her wedding. Anyway, not that we're TTC but we may have made a slight error this month in the bedroom... so i was supposed to get my monthly visitor today, but lo and behold, nothing... I personally don't think I'm pregnant, but... i guess i won't
