Adam and I met in 2005 in the middle of the ocean--literally! My aunt took me on a cruise to Mexico as a belated graduation present and Adam was on the same cruise with his boss. We were seated together at dinner the first night and found out we lived close to each other and went to the same college! I'm not sure I would call it love at first sight, but we both knew it was something special.
After dating for only 4 months we knew we were meant to be together. Adam proposed with the most beautiful ring ever! A year later we were married on May 12, 2007. Our wedding was perfect and I wouldn't have changed a thing!
The first year of our marriage was tough. Adam got a new job, which was wonderful, but it meant he would be working at night. It was (and still is) hard to not be able to see each other but it makes us appreciate the times we do get to spend together. Also during our first year, Adam father passed away from a brain tumor. It was so hard and still is, but going through those tough times brought us closer together. We knew we really meant it when we said "for better or worse."
Right now we have 4 cats and are fostering a 5th! I'm a huge animal lover! Our cats are our babies right now, but we recently started TTC!
