This is Chris and I in the early days of our relationship...one of our fav pictures. We're out at a local martini bar, one of our favorite hangouts to unwind and talk after work or on the weekends. We love just going out together, having a few drinks and dishing about our week. You tend to get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life that when you stop, you realize that you don't know what's going on in your partners life. Since day one we've been each other's best friend and know how important keeping up the communication is. Don't let the suits in this picture full you though. We live in Northern New Jersey right outside of New York City and we both have corporate jobs, so the business attire is a must. But those suits are so far from who we really are...they're basically our "costume" all week long. Reality is...we both use to live at the Jersey shore and are, and always will be laidback, beach people. On summer weekends you'll find us packing up the car to head down the shore to visit family and friends that all still live there...at 5 o'clock on Friday we're trading in the suits, wine glasses, my high heels and his dress shoes for flips flops, sunglasses, sand, and sun...and a margarita too!!
