Welcome!

Paint color is Restoration Hardware's Silver Sage. Please excuse the Christmas wreaths on the mirrors.

Living Room

We have since added striped pillows matching the curtains and paisley accent pillows in coordinating colors.  I plan to paint the coffee table a dark brown and remove the decorative things below the rail. The mantle decor is temporary.

On the "to buy" list:

Dining Room

To do:

Lots!

Kitchen

Since these pictures, I have painted the kitchen/breakfast room a shade darker (Sea Green) than the wall color, added a cornice made with the same fabric as the living room curtain's and brown curtains inside the cornice. The dreaded fake ficus is also gone, yay!

Updated color and window treatment:

To do:
put knobs/pulls on cabinets, find a buffet or server for breakfast area

Master Bedroom

Duvet cover and shams are from Crate and Barrel (discontinued now), quilt is from Kohls, bedskirt (that I need to change to ivory, you can see it on my nightstand, haha) and EuroShams from BB&B. Paint color is Transferware. It was part of the Martha Stewart line when it was at Sherwin Williams.

To do:

Find art for above bed and new curtains (I hate these). Also, find a chaise lounge for the wall and area you can't see in the pics (we have a 5-walled bedroom)

Guest Bedroom

To do:

paint and new bedding. I just have to find something I like!

Home Office:

Still a lot of work to do in here!

Honeymoon: Kauai

We stayed in the Hyatt in Poipu (south side of the island) because we went in the winter. The resort was beautiful. The view from our balcony:

View from a path on the resort:

One of the highlights of our trip was our helicopter tour of the island.

My favorite spot on Kauai: the end of the road past the Waimea Canyon. You end at with the Kalalau Valley on one side and an interior valley on the other side. It is impossible to grasp the vastness of it from pictures. Helicopters looked like bugs! Clouds dissipate right before your eyes. We were the only people up there, which was an incredible feeling. The second picture is my standing between the 2 valleys.
