James & Rachael
James and I met in August, 2003 when a mutual friend invited me to a party at James' apartment. We hit it off and the rest is history!
He proposed in December of 2005 at our favorite restaurant. He told me he was taking me out to celebrate the end of the semester. When we got there, they told us our table wasn't ready yet because some people were taking longer than they had planned, so we had to wait in the billiard room. I was shocked to see my parents walk in with a dozen roses in hand. I looked over at James and he pulled the ring out of his pocket and asked me to marry him. Of course, I said yes!
We were married on June 9th 2007 in Grand Forks, ND. Everything was so perfect! We couldn't have asked for a better day full of family, friends, and love.

We went to Couples Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica for our honeymoon. Everything was wonderful. We hope to go back to Jamaica someday.
Two days after we got home from our honeymoon, James was sent to England for work. Luckily, I was able to meet him there for a week to do a little more vacationing. We stayed in Stevenage, England and frequently took the train to London. We also spend a day in Paris. It was so amazing!

We own a 2 bed/2 bath fixer-upper house. So far we have remodeled the kitchen, one of the bathrooms, and a bedroom, as well as put new carpet and furniture in the living room. It's quite the project, but we're making it just how we want it. (I'll post pics of the house soon!)
