Tony and I met in the only feasible way possible: through the aid of a little known dating service online. He was the desperate one, lol, I was just vain. Tony, oh-so-sauvely, first contacted me through MSN Messenger which was a service on my phone. After our first interchange we proceeded to email quite frequently while I was home for my Christmas break. Tony couldn't wait to meet me, while I couldn't really think of him as more than 'fictional perfection.' But somehow, Tony convinced me to agree to meeting him before heading home back to school. The stage was set for the first phone call, the night before the first meeting. It was over the phone that we discovered that Tony's cousin, Shanna, was roomates with one of my good friend's, Gracia. After a few quick phone calls to double check our references we were both able to meet knowing that the other was exactly who they had portrayed theirselves to be.
We hit the ground running and have never looked back.
Oh and something new for '09

Our House
We closed 03.30.07, moved in with an all day downpour.
Our "quaint and charming," read small, 1 1/2 story.
New front door!
From the inside, it's so beautiful!
My mighty 1 1/2 foot Blushing Bride Hydrangea, with 12 flower heads!
Almost exact loveseat and chair as previous owners
Final . . . for now.
Little shelving unit, for $25.
Wallwords from ebayer written by design, for a grand total of $15.
Fantastic to work with.
New media cabinet, which will not actually be used as a media cabinet,
once we finally get a real entertainment center.
Inconvenient eating area, but eh, what can you do?
Our thrid craigslist purchase, a little table for our little space!
This will not stay on table forever, but will be mounted on the wall behind.
Different day, same cat, same position.
Super excited about our new ceiling fan, buh bye brass!
New wine hutch.
Our "fantastic" kitchen. The definition of cozy.
That's it folks.
Bench that FIL made for us.
My favorite corner of the room . . . that we have yet to do anything with.
Nicely covered fenced backyard.
Look past the green tree on the left, you'll see a telephone poll . . . that's how far our lot extends! We have almost an acre of land in the suburbs!
DH removing our 1950's clothesline.
DH said there was enough concrete for a porch footing . . . atleast!
We will be clearing these trees, shrubbery and unidentified growth.
DH in the midst of clearing the towering lilac.
The 3rd week of July, bought ourselves a forest!
Home Depot had their trees and shrubs 50% off!
We planted 11 trees: 3 Colorado Spruce, 2 Norwegian Sunset Maple,
2 Quaking Aspen, 2 Southern Red Oak, 1 Autumn Blaze Maple and 1 Sugar Maple.
They um, don't photograph well.
This is the remaining third of our backyard, which is unfenced . . . until Spring '08.

Doings that occupy us
In a past life, I was a dII college soccer player.
Now it's all about getting some frustrations out.
Dh is a NCAA college ref.
You could infer that we enjoy sports, just a touch. :)
Furbabies
Funny story, early in our dating, DH invited me to drive half way across the country to go to a wedding he was participating in taking place in PA. There was a great itinerary, including going to see a Pirates game. Turns out . .. all the activities were for the bridal party only, as common sense would tell!
So there I was, all alone, for a day, in a city I didn't have any knowledge of. Where did I wind up? The Washington County Humane Society, in Eighty-Four PA! I had been preparing myself for three years that my 18-20 year old cat would eventually die and I thought that it would be beneficial to get a coping mechanism, aka a new kitten. So we drove back the 10 hours with an 8 week kitten in tow!
DH learned his lesson, he will never leave me alone to go golfing, who knows what animal will await him when he gets home.
She's always looking out for me.
Our newest addition, little Lucy!
Such a little cuddle bug!
Our pretty girl.
